Cove Sea

Here we have the perfect location for Dad to take the young enthusiasts in the family to learn the rudiments of the game. Cove Sea’s little twelve-hole, par three course lies at the end of a twisty track leading off the main road a few miles west of Lossiemouth - right alongside the sea. It has been carved out of the dunes and the flatter links above the shoreline, so marram grass, buckthorn and gorse are in plentiful supply should tee shots go seriously awry! It is a course for the learner to work on improving his swing, striking of the ball and over which he or she will be introduced to all the characteristics of links golf. Future champions may well learn their trade here, and for the more senior player, who perhaps has lost his way around the greens, it is hard to imagine a better place to work on the problems and get confidence restored.
