Beautiful old smugglers village at the foot of mighty cliffs, Pennan was the location for the movie 'Local Hero' and its famous phone box is a listed historical monument. Nearby Aberdour Bay has sandy beaches, extensive sea-cave formations and a 10th century church associated with St. Columba.
