Newburgh
Newburgh
was once an important salmon and sea fishing port
and today excellent fly and spinning for trout
and salmon can be found on the Ythan Estuary.
The National Nature Reserve at the Sands of Forvie
on the Ythan Estuary, provides Britains largest
breeding ground for eider ducks. Further up the
coast at Collieston the Stevenson Forvie Centre
provides information on the Sands of Forvie Nature
