Huntly Peregrine Wild Watch Centre

What a fantastic day out we had! Our party consisted of 6 adults and 4 children (ages 1, 3, 5, 6 years old)and we all had a thoroughly informative, hands on, enjoyable time. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the children all had a great time at the wee pond catching and identifying pond life. The walk through the forest was lovely and on the whole suitable for buggies (which was useful) - although we did not go far past the first enclosed bird watch site. It was great to look through the binoculars and try to identify the birds around the feeding area. We only saw the peregrine on the webcam as she is currently nesting and no red squirrels but they are normally easy to see. We also used the picnic facilities. Toilets very clean and fun - the kids loved the colouring in on the door! We would all recommend this place as a must see and we will continue to visit on a regular basis :-) big thumbs up from us all!
