city developments

My wife and I took advantage of our bus passes to visit Aberdeen last week. It is about ten years since I was last in Aberdeen and we were both impressed with the amount and quality of development since then. We were however, puzzled as to why the square at the Citadel had not been developed. It is in an ideal spot, and a good size and shape to become a good focal point at the east end of Union Street. This is not a criticism, just an observation.
