With fine views toward Bennachie, Oldmeldrum retains much of its old character. At nearby Tarves visitors should not miss Haddo House and Country Park (NTS), the Tarves Heritage Project and 16th century Tolquhon Castle (HS) and Gallery. Oldmeldrum Sports take place in June each year.
