Towns & Villages / Macduff

This small coastal town's east coast presence provides spectacular sunsets each night over the town’s dramatic cliff fronts. Any visit wouldn’t be complete with a trip to the new Marine Aquarium and its unique open-air centre tank.

Nearby is the William Adam designed Duff House, home to a vast body of the National Gallery of Scotland’s art collection, all of which is open for a stroll through. South of the house, a walk through Wrack Woods will uncover a mausoleum, an ice-house and the River Deveron, chock full of good salmon and trout fishing.
